The Raving Maes once again entertained the crowds at the annual wassail, with several new members enjoying the experience.
We had a lovely afternoon down on Hessle Foreshore. After weeks of rain, the sun was out, and we danced as it set in the west, followed by some delicious mulled wine and cider.

We love all things traditional, so this year we are starting a new one. For the summer solstice Morris Dancers congregate at the Black Mill on Beverley Westwood to watch the sun rise, so we are all gathering at the Black Mill on Hessle Foreshore for the Winter Solstice to see the sun set. Why not join us for a bit of music and dancing, mulled wine and cider! Hope to see you there.

Hello world,
The Maes have had an interesting year so far, forgetting to take pictures of ourselves, generally getting soggy due to the rain and website trouble.
So this post is to let you still know we are still here, and we have some more pics uploaded in the gallery
From dancing in rain to very lovely Jubilee Day, we have had an interesting time, we even got to hold an Olympic torch.
So stay get ready for More Mae Madness
